AssoulineA deeper look into the world of buccellatimilan Founded in Milan by Mario Buccellati in 1919, the Maison has built its identity around preserving and reinterpreting centuries old Italian goldsmithing techniques, many rooted in the Renaissance. More than a century later, techniques such as Rigato, Telato, Segrinato and Modellato are still executed by hand, creating the distinctive, textile like surfaces synonymous with Buccellati. Visiting the atelier and exploring the historical archives gave me a deeper understanding of the patience, precision and knowledge behind every piece and a renewed appreciation for a Maison so dedicated to preserving its craft.
