A journey that began thousands of years ago is now being retold among the stars of AlUla. Inspired by Homer’s The Odyssey and the renewed global interest in his legendary tale with the release of Christopher Nolan’s film, AlUla has unveiled a new interpretive asterism: The Ship of Odysseus. Formed by 10 stars within the Boötes region, a constellation explicitly referenced in the original epic, this celestial pattern symbolizes Odysseus’ ten-year journey home.
